It will start 2021-02-03 14:15 UTC .
You may find that you will receive a higher load on your server and a greater demand for tasks. If teams have been bunkering for a few days prior, you will receive a large amount of uploads within the first few hours of the challenge starting.
Hopefully this will all be a boost to the project and will have no ill effects. It might be a good idea to have extra tasks available for the duration.

Also if anyone wants to take part in the challenge but doesn't have a team, or their team is not taking part, either The Scottish Boinc team https://www.sidock.si/sidock/team_display.php?teamid=43 or Anguillan Pirates https://www.sidock.si/sidock/team_display.php?teamid=44 will quite happily host you for the duration of this challenge should you wish.

To be honest, I have my doubts as to whether SiDock can provide and process work units in sufficient quantities.

A good way to limit bunkering is to have all challenges only count tasks that were both downloaded and returned during the challenge period.

I'll be anti-bunkering.

Current GigaFLOPS 16688.58, I'd guess that's a new record for this project. Plenty of tasks so far and the server holding up fine.

This server is located in west-north part of Russia with good native cooling!

For your first experience of a challenge being called on the project I think things are going very well. Thank you for making extra tasks available, I suspect they will take quite a hit before the challenge is over. I know some people have moved some serious power over to your project for this. Yeah, I'm not sure those of us on The Scottish Boinc Team can hold you guys off for much longer, but it's been a good fight so far. We're trying our best :)

I think it's a big challenge for you and your hardware.

You guys are now starting to pull away from us at a rate now. Best not let off the throttle though .....

Simply not enough members and not enough cores, there never is, always the story with BOINC.
The project will certainly be the winner here. Another record day for GFlops ( 20568.84 ), over 50% of this run complete already and a good test for them when the Formula Boinc sprint comes up. For a recently started project I can only compliment the guys and girls making it happen for how things have run.

Personally, so far so good and the Pirates aren't in last place :)
4 more days to go and the fat lady hasn't warmed up her vocal chords yet . We'll see you guys at the finish line for a virtual beer !

In the time of Facebook, Twitter and Co. i guess, it isn't easy to find new member for our passion.
