Can anyone explain why I cannot add a NEW host to my existing account?

And why on another host, trying to download tasks causes a "Communication deferred 24 hours" message in BOINC Manager? (Even though there are NO other active tasks from other projects being processed).

This seems to be a rather strange pair of issues, when many projects are losing active BOINC participants for all sorts of reasons (energy costs being one significant factor).

Sorry, I have no idea Tim.

FWIW, I've had no problems adding hosts & downloading new tasks since you announced the FB sprint.
My only problem will be completing much, or possibly any, of it before the sprint finishes!

Thanks for the feedback

It does seem rather strange. I've even reset the SiDock project on one host and that didn't help to allow ANY tasks to be downloaded - just the same Communication deferred message.

I'll try again on Friday sometime when I get the chance so it might just be a connection fault somewhere between me, my ISP and the project. ;-)
