I have been running the newer task like CurieMarieDock 0.2.0 long tasks 2.02 and it would progress and eventually progress will reset to 0% Fallstar, hello! Yes, it can be. Several days ago we detect this bug. It happens after "cold restart" if another checkpoint did not have time to form and the calculations where stopped. (For current target checkpoint interval is about 1 ... 15 minutes). |

I will update my checkpoint settings and see if this issue still occurs |

Still occurring but less frequently Luck of the draw if you hit that checkpoint time |

Yes. It looks like my Windows-10 (on 'pretty old' HP 64-bit hardware, with 4 cores) is also affected. Running "CurieMarieDock 0.2.0 long tasks 2.02" software. BOINC version is 2.20.2 x 64 (Current version per BerkeleyBOINC page), Widgets3.1.7. I'm using Local Preferences, which are: Options // Computing Preferences // Computing // Request tasks to checkpoint at most every [ I picked 600 seconds, 10 minutes ]. Problem seems to happen when Win 10 pretty much forces an update-reboots, and I let it. I tried to first shut down everything cleanly, including telling BOINC to "shut down running tasks when exiting BOINC". My thinking is "Better to let BOINC do the Work-Unit shut-downs, than to let the update-reboot kill them." |
