To what extent is the Russian government involved in this project?

Good question! How can we know there isn't any malware / spyware / backdoors built-in to the software !?
Hopefully the code is open source and can be independently reviewed and verified for security holes?

Thank you for your contribution to scientific progress. I know your situation. As far as I know, since the outbreak of the war, many Russian academic institutions have been impacted. I think this is wrong. Civilians should not pay for politicians' decisions, not to mention scientific research serving all human beings. I participated in this project because I wanted to express my academic support.
By the way: Can you optimize the program and make them more frequently save the running result to the disk? This will bring me a lot of convenience, because not all participants can keep the computers powering on al the time,I've found if I shutdown my computer,the progress willl turn to zero.

Hello! At this moment, checkpoint performs for each 0.2% for cmdock-l and previous applications. Inside my VM with Windows 10 and BOINC 7.16.11 it works. I will try to test 7.20.2 also.

My version is exactly 7.20.2.By the way,if the problem is not caused by software, maybe you can give me the suggestion in setting?Much appreciated.

I come back to report that after try to run the project on my new compute operation system,the problem have been solve.I suppose maybe there is something worng with my old one.Thank you for your work again.

If the Russian scientists left Russia and didn't help or inspire Russians, then Russia would lose the war against Ukraine sooner and less people would die. I don't think the Russian projects in themselves are dangerous, but that Russian scientists stay in Russia and e.g. educate others that develop weapons or improve the Russian economy is dangerous. If the Russian scientist cannot conduct science from within Russia they would probably leave Russia. I have set all Russian projects to "No new tasks" until Russia has left Ukraine and stopped bombing Ukraine. In my case this is SiDock@home and Amicable Numbers, AFAIK. I consider a project Russian if the scientists leading that project lives in Russia -- not if it is lead by Russians outside of Russia. I believe the Russian scientist can leave Russia and get good jobs elsewhere. If you see more Russian projects in this list. please notify me.

I was obviously a friend of the Russian people before the war, otherwise I wouldn't join Russian projects in the first place.
