Hello, I have added this project to my machines. They seem to be working ok but only get less that 10 w/u at a time. Is this a limit by the project. The limit set on the machines is usually 5 days or so. Ta Nairb |

You get as many tasks as two times the number of available threads. |

Yup thats looks like what I get.... 2 w/u per thread. I presume its set by the project and not a parameter I can change. Ta Nairb |

The two W/U's per thread is a minor problem for me. I often will take my laptop to a cottage with no internet access for days at a time. With other projects I was able to "preload" 5 day's worth of tasks that would last until I got back home. Personally I wish they would change this but it's not a deal-breaker. It's their project, and they can run it as they see fit... |

If you sure, that your computer performs need computations, you can set ncpus parameter in cc_config.xml to higher value during tasks request. High values of tasks per CPU, that need for situations like this may be problematic for project. Thank you for participation! |
